Monroe Staffing, a division of Staffing 360 Solutions is currently hiring a Mechanical Millwright at a reputable manufacturing facility in Youngstown, OH.  The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years industrial experience and be required to pass a mechanical assessment test. Associate degree in mechanical technology, journeyman machine repairman preferred. Following all safety rules and precautions are required. 
Hours: Rotating shift (Overtime required) 
Pay Rate:  $28 hour (pay increase after 120 days)

Responsibilities of a Mechanical Millwright

  • Ability to make rounds and complete necessary documentation on a daily basis.
  • Handling Mechanical delays and mechanical repairs throughout the mill.
  • Finding ways to reduce maintenance costs and keeping inventory of parts for repairs and mill needs.
  • Responsible for participating in improvement Maintenance activities (CIT, MADE, RCA, and CAPEX)
  • Reviewing and improving SKILL BASED pay plant curriculum.
  • Responsible for work effectiveness regarding wrench time, required competencies, overtime, etc.

Qualifications and needed experience of a Mechanical Millwright

  • Associate degree in Mechanical Technology, Journeyman Machine Repairman or Journeyman Millwright card preferred.
  • Minimum (3) years industrial experience in a Maintenance Role.
  • Required to follow and abide by all safety rules and use proper PPE
  • Capable of lifting 50 pounds on a routine basis.
  • Must be able to work in confined areas, work at heights and wide range temperatures.
  • Ability to work rotating shifts and overtime.
  • Required to pass the Mechanical assessment test.
  • Proficiency in Mechanical Troubleshooting including Power Transmission, Hydraulics, and Pneumatics
