VENDOR & INGREDIENT SPECIALIST

JOB SUMMARY
This role is responsible for the implementation and execution of technical, regulatory affairs (domestic and international), and compliance functions as assigned by the Regulatory Leadership and in support of our commitment to customers and stakeholders. They must be able to execute all general technical and regulatory functions and any specialty functions related to raw materials and vendors, and train other team members in proper execution of their tasks. They must interact and collaborate inter-departmentally, in a professional, solutions-oriented manner, without conflict escalation.
As A Quality Team Member Within the Kettle Cuisine Team You Are Expected To:

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monitoring Vendor Performance
- Responsible for ensuring all Kettle Cuisine Vendors and raw materials are fully documented and vetted per relevant SQF and KC standards and requirements
- Responsible for vendor performance monitoring, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure complete and cogent Root Cause Analysis and CAPA, determine when escalation is needed
- Analyze and report metrics, KPIs, trends
- Program Development & Implementation
- Responsible for review and implementation of SQF & KC Regulatory Team internal programs related to Raw Material Approval, Incoming Goods & Services, Supplier Approval, and key support partner for Identity Preserved Foods.
- Responsible for all relevant raw material and supplier documentation support for GF & NOP standards, provide specialty guidance for relevant SQF audit functions
- Review program compliance, determine gaps or areas of needed improvement, propose solutions
- Successful relationships with stakeholders
- Ensure USDA, FDA, GFCO, NOP, Internal and External Customer requirements and needs are met - first time, on time, collaborating with other teams and develop internal support systems as needed
- Develop and support efforts to reduce defects and achieve First Time Right within the organization, reduce concerns, and increase efficiencies
- Provide paths for success instead of roadblocks -"yes with no" for all concerns
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in Quality or Compliance role
- Demonstrated understanding of state and federal regulations when pertaining, but not limited to, labeling, nutrition, certifications
- Demonstrated ability to implement continuous improvement and proven collaboration
- Clearly communicates change and analyzes potential impact
REQUIRED ATTRIBUTES
