Monroe Staffing Services is currently seeking qualified candidates for a Technical Production Associate in he Coventry RI area. The Technical Production Associate position will be with a stable company anticipating continued growth in the next quarter. As a Technical Production Associate, your daily duties may consist up to but not limited to:

  • Operate and tend machines that wind or twist textiles including but not limited to technical fibers such as Carbon and Fiberglass.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    * Inspect initial set up to determine whether machine adjustment is needed.
    * Use HMI console to select recipes and verify parameters.
    * Follow work instructions and document as steps are followed.
    * Operate machines for test runs to verify adjustments and to obtain product
    samples.
    * Start machines, monitor operation, and make adjustments as needed.
    * Observe bobbins as they are winding and cut fiber to remove loaded bobbins,
    using snips.
    * Replace depleted supply packages with full packages.
    * Record production data such as numbers and types of bobbins wound.
    * Observe operations to detect defects, malfunctions, or supply shortages.
    * Notify supervisors or mechanics of equipment malfunctions.
    * Inspect and Pack completed product.
    Engineered Fibers:
    * Start machines, monitor operation, and make adjustments as needed.
    * Inspect products to verify that they meet specifications and to determine
    whether machine adjustment is needed.
    * Tend machines that twist together two or more strands of yarn or insert
    additional twists into single strands of yarn to increase strength, smoothness,
    and/or uniformity of yarn.
    * Observe bobbins as they are winding; and cut threads to remove loaded
    bobbins, using snips.
    * Replace depleted supply packages with full packages.
    * Operate machines for test runs to verify adjustments and to obtain product
    samples.
    * Record production data such as numbers and types of bobbins wound.
    * Stop machines when specified amount of products has been produced.
    * Observe operations to detect defects, malfunctions, or supply shortages.
    * Notify supervisors or mechanics of equipment malfunctions.

    * Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.


    POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
    Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred.

    Experience: Manufacturing experience preferred but not required.

    Computer Skills: Basic Computer knowledge required.
