Summary: Responsible for the accurate and efficient palletizing of products to company specifications. Must adhere to all company GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices), established SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures), and all Food Safety policies. Duties and Responsibilities: (Include, but are not limited to the following) • Supply Production Department with raw materials necessary for manufacturing. • Move finished goods from processing areas. • The shift is Monday through Friday 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, and the availability to work overtime and occasional Saturday. • Safely build and move pallets with equipment such as pallet jack. • Responsible for reviewing and verifying label information on the computer system. • Responsible for the completion of documenting palletizing sheets and paperwork. • Ensure the presence, accuracy, and legibility of lot code information and all other required information on the finished product. • Ensure compliance with all safety and work rules. • Handling, labeling, and packaging of Bulk/Retail products. • Standing for long periods in a cold/refrigerated environment. • Follow and understand verbal instruction in a fast-paced environment. • Ensure clean, safe, and organized work areas. • Ensure that all food safety, quality assurance, and GMP policies and procedures are followed. • Comply with all health, sanitation, and USDA regulations • Comply with policies as described in the Employee Handbook and other policy and procedure documents. • Ability to work long periods of time in a cold environment (28 F). • Ability to lift 70 lbs. or more. • Ability to push/pull heavy objects.
