POSITION SUMMARY:

The position will assist with the manufacturing and commercialization of implantable medical devices intended for clinical vascular use. Manufacturing Assemblers perform all tasks in a cleanroom environment in the assembly process of product.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assemble devices in accordance with procedures in a clean room environment.
Assemble parts using tools such as tweezers, microscopes, and small fixtures.
Clean the operating equipment, cleanroom and maintain clean work areas in accordance
with cGMP requirements.
Ensure product meets specified requirements.
Actively participate with line clearance and set up activities.
Occasionally assist with Engineering or R&D projects and design improvements.
Participate in device assembly in accordance with procedures in a clean room environment.
Perform related duties and responsibilities as required.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

High School diploma/GED/ or relevant previous work experience equivalent.
Able to work in a high‐performing team environment with changing priorities
Possess a demonstrated ability to multi‐task and accommodate changing within compressed timelines.
Previous Medical Device Industry/Cleanroom a PLUS but not required.
Previous experience in ISO/GMP and FDA regulated environment a PLUS but not required.
Ability to work Overtime when required to meet business demands.

SPECIALIZED SKILLS & OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

Superior hand eye coordination skills required to perform tasks on small items.
Ability to stand, sit, walk for the duration of the work shift.
Requires fine and gross motor skills of both hands and fingers to perform assembly tasks.
Required to lift up to 10 pounds during the shift occasionally from floor to waist, and waist to shoulder level.
Required to carry up to 10 pounds up to 30 feet occasionally during the shift
