Monroe Staffing, a division of Staffing 360 Solutions is currently hiring a Maintenance Mechanic for a well-known manufacturer located in Fall River, MA. The ideal candidate will have prior experience repairing and maintaining production equipment and the ability to operate a forklift.

Location: Fall River, MA

Payrate: $25.00 /HR

Hours: 7:30AM-4:30PM (Monday-Thursday), 7:30AM-11:30 (Friday)

Responsibilities of the Maintenance Mechanic:

Assess the safety requirements before starting any repair
Install molds for new production run as well as remove and prepare molds for storage for completed runs
Manage the repair, maintenance, and installation of mechanical and electrical equipment, as well as building mechanical repairs and maintenance
Perform all services in a timely and meticulous manner
Document all activities in the maintenance work order system and repair logs
Contribute ideas to improve safety, reliability, and productivity
Adhere to the molding machine and support equipment start up and shut down procedures
Utilize a forklift for transporting molds and equipment throughout the facility.

Requirements of the Maintenance Mechanic:

High School Diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution
Prior experience maintaining and repairing production equipment
Experience operating a forklift
Knowledge of maintaining molding machinery is preferred
Mechanical aptitude and knowledge of machinery
