Monroe Staffing, a division of Staffing 360 Solutions, is currently hiring Machine Operators for a well-known manufacturing company located in Fall River, MA. The ideal candidate will be capable of performing repetitive physical tasks and have a background in machine operation.

Location: Fall River, MA

Payrate: $16.75

Hours: 1stShift

Responsibilities of the Machine Operator:

Perform repetitive tasks related to machinery for extended periods
Adhere to guidelines related to PPE, know safety equipment and be aware of machine safety procedures
Conduct quality assessments of products to look for defects, inconsistencies and abnormal appearance to ensure quality control
Perform cleanings and basic preventative maintenance on all equipment
Assist in the repair and maintenance of the equipment when needed
Follow the 5 S’s (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain)
Read production job specifications to determine machine adjustments and materials required
Document production information on a tally sheet and make basic production entries via written or electronic forms
Communicate with the next shift’s machine operators regarding production progress
Identify and communicate issues with cell or group leader

Qualifications of the Machine Operator:

Physically capable of lifting 50 lbs repeatedly and pushing 30 lbs repeatedly
Ability to adapt quickly to a changing environment
Solid understanding of mathematical principles such as length, diameter, weights and counts
Prior machining experience is preferred
High school diploma/GED preferred
