Monroe Staffing, a division of Staffing 360 Solutions is currently hiring General Labor 2nd Line for well-known hospital and hospitality laundry processing services in Columbia, SC. The ideal candidate must be able to support the production of the commercial laundry plant to meet customer needs in a fast pace manner. Previous Experience a plus.
$11.50 per hour
1stShift - 8am-4:30pm - 4 days a week
Role and Responsibilities of a General Labor 2nd Line:
Ability to operate machinery such as commercial dryers and washers
Responsible for unloading the laundry bags from a truck and sorting all soiled laundry items.
Physical work that will require occasional physical exertion including some lifting of objects.
Ability to work in a hot environment.
Must be able to prevent overload and maintaining production standards.
Qualifications of a General Labor 2nd Line:
Ability to be on your feet for full shift.
Required to bend, reach, pull and push items.
Move at a quick pace.
Follow all verbal instructions and assignments given.
Excellent time-management skills
Be mindful of all required safety measures.
