Monroe Staffing, a division of Staffing 360 Solutions, is a leading staffing agency in the U.S. in the light industrial sector. We are currently seeking an Electroplater for a local metal finishing plant located in Fall River, MA. The ideal candidate must have previous experience with electropolishing, metal plating, chrome plating, anodizing, metal finishing, or other related experience.

Pay Rate: 20.50 – 22.50/Hour
Hours: 1stShift (42 hours/week – weekday overtime regularly)
Days: Monday – Friday
Job Summary of Electroplater:
The Electroplater will perform electropolishing and passivate metal parts and products in accordance with exact specifications to ensure high-quality parts are efficiently produced. Other duties include in-process inspection, pre-cleaning metal parts, racking/un-racking parts, rinsing metal parts on production line, and transfer parts between departments. This is a production position in an electropolishing metal plant.
Electroplater must be extremely reliable, willing to accept regular overtime, and willing to work as a member of a team. This position is in a fast-paced electropolishing metal plant. Position reports to First Shift Production Supervisor.
Job Duties of Electroplater:
Electroplater will perform electropolishing and ensure metal passivation processes (including quality, safety) are adhered to and are not compromised.
Follow documented procedure for tracking daily assignments and production work.
Identify non-conforming product through visual and dimensional inspections.
Promptly communicate quality and quantity issues to supervisor and co-workers.
Electroplater will manually pre-clean metal parts.
Electroplater will document in-process inspection results.
Monitor and take appropriate action to meet quality and quantity expectations.
Monitor equipment to ensure it is in proper working order. Recommend maintenance and repair if required.
Electroplater will transport in-process work between departments.
Requirements for Electroplater:
Ability to read and comprehend written job instructions in English required.
Minimum of 2 years metal finishing experience.
Previous experience in electropolishing, electroplating, metal finishing, metal plating, chrome plating, anodizing, or other related experience.
Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
Ability to use micrometer, microscope, gages, and other quality control tools.
Must be able to accurately document processing notes.
Communicate effectively to supervisors and co-workers in a fast-paced production environment.
Lift up to 50 – 75 lbs. regularly, safely, and without assistance or difficulty.
Able to climb stairs, reach and twist as needed.
Use hand carts to move material and pull fully loaded pallet jacks.
Able to remain on feet continuously throughout workday.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings preferred.
High School diploma or GED preferred.
Physical Demands for Electroplater:
Electroplater is frequently required to stand; walk and sit.
Required to use hands and fingers to handle and feel; reach with hands and arms.
Required to use rotating forearm and wrist movements.
Electroplater is occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
Electroplater must frequently lift 50 pounds without assistance, and occasionally lift 75 pounds.
Close vision ability, color vision (must be able to see green), peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus is required.
