Accounts Receivable Manager

  • Will have overall responsibility for driving strategic vision of the Accounts Receivable/Credit & Collections function across all of the U.S.
  • Assist the Senior Vice President, U.S. Shared Services with centralizing the Accounts Receivable/Credit & Collections function from other U.S. entities
  • Develop an organization that allows for future centralization of future acquisitions
  • Responsible for daily bank reports, reviewing checks from lockbox and electronic transfers.
  • Manage daily posting of revenue and cash applications by verifying and/or entering transactions from the lockbox
  • Complete daily cash reporting for finance
  • Drive resolution on any account discrepancies dealing with short payments
  • Support swift resolution of client inquiries
  • Ensure client account files are accurate and up to date
  • Manage collection activities and drive action on past due accounts
  • Monitor of 3rd party payers and Vendor Management Systems processes to confirm accurate remittances
  • Manage credit reviews on new and existing clients
  • Assist with other monthly reporting as needed
  • Assist with internal and external audits
  • Monitor and drive strong team performance on DSO, Aging and other defined KPI targets


  • 10-15 years or more accounts receivable and collections experience
  • Knowledge of accounting principles, regulatory standards and compliance requirements
  • Knowledge of third party payers and Vendor Management Systems
  • Ability to calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records
  • Strong math skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including the ability to operate accounting and spreadsheet programs
  • Drives accuracy and detail in all activities
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Effective verbal, listening and written communication skills
  • Strong time management skills
