A premium gourmet bakery manufacturer is seeking a full-time picker to join the team.
REQUIREMENTS:
- A minimum of one to two years of food manufacturing experience is required.
- Must speak English!
- Basic Microsoft Office skills are required.
- Must be able to lift to 50+ pounds.
- Ability to work flexible hours required. Core hours are 1 PM to 11 PM, Sun through Sat, with a day off.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Sorts and places materials or items on racks according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, or customer.
- Fills requisitions, receives orders, and takes orders.
- Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets.
- Cleans and sanitizes all equipment necessary for the manufacturing of food products.
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Previous experience in packing is helpful.
- A basic understanding of safe food handling practices
- Independent, hardworking, strong, energetic, and self-motivated
- The ability to stand 8-10 per shift.
- The ability to lift to 25lbs+ numerous times per day.
- The ability to work at a fast pace.
- Neat and organized.
- Basic math skills
- Ability to read and understand pick slips and invoices in English.
- Ability to work weekends and holidays.
