Monroe Staffing, a division of Staffing 360 Solutions, is currently hiring an Industrial Maintenance Technician at a reputable manufacturing facility in Youngstown, OH. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years industrial experience and is required to pass a mechanical assessment test. Associate degree in mechanical technology, journeyman machine repairman preferred. Following all safety rules and precautions is required. 
Hours:              12 hr. shifts 4 days (Overtime required)
Pay Rate:           $28 hour (pay increase to $31.80 after 120 days)
Responsibilities of an Industrial Maintenance Technician

  • Ability to make rounds and work on Preventative/predictive maintenance issues.
  • Handling Mechanical delays and mechanical repairs throughout the mill.
  • Ability to work items like hydraulic machinery, welders, and larger CNC machines.
  • Finding ways to reduce maintenance costs and keep an inventory of parts for repairs and mill needs.
  • Responsible for participating in improvement Maintenance activities (CIT, MADE, RCA, and CAPEX)
  • Reviewing and improving SKILL BASED pay plant curriculum.
  • Responsible for work effectiveness regarding wrench time, required competencies, overtime, etc.
Qualifications of an Industrial Maintenance Technician

  • Associate degree in Mechanical Technology, Journeyman Machine Repairman or Journeyman Millwright card preferred.
  • Troubleshooting hydraulic, industrial, and control equipment
  • Journeyman Millwright a plus
  • Fanuc and Robot (ABB) experience is a plus
  • Minimum (3) years of industrial experience in a Maintenance Role.
  • Required to follow and abide by all safety rules and use proper PPE
  • Capable of lifting 50 pounds on a routine basis.
  • Must be able to work in confined areas, work at heights and wide range temperatures.
  • Ability to work rotating shifts and overtime.
  • Required to pass the Mechanical assessment test.
  • Proficiency in Mechanical Troubleshooting including Power Transmission, Hydraulics, and Pneumatics
