A premium gourmet frozen food manufacturer seeks a full-time Assistant Mixer/Batcher to join our team.
The ideal candidate for this role must have manufacturing batching experience.
REQUIREMENTS:
- A minimum of one to two years of food manufacturing experience is required.
- Must speak English!
- Basic Microsoft Office skills required.
- Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds.
- Ability to work flexible hours required. Core hours are 7:00 am– 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Reads and interprets formulas to determine product specifications, processing, and technical information.
- Operates and tends to machines to mix or blend various food products.
- Patrol the work area to detect any leaks, equipment malfunctions, or operating conditions and report any deficiencies to the Supervisor.
- Cleans and sanitizes all equipment necessary for the manufacturing of food products.
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Work is performed while standing, sitting, and/or walking.
- Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing.
- Requires the use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.
- Requires bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, and reaching.
- Requires lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling medium weights up to 60 pounds.
- Requires activities involving being around moving machinery, exposure to marked changes in temperature and humidity, and exposure to dust, food allergens, and gas.
