America's Leading ornament manufacturer and a family-owned business since 1976 that designs and creates handcrafted ornaments, keepsakes, and gifts for the white house historical society and the military is in search of an experienced Account Executive.
 
Reports To:   VP of Sales & Marketing
 
SUMMARY:  
As an Account Executive for decorative your role will require you to lead by example in your department meeting or exceeding your annual new business, existing business, and retention goals.   In addition to being motivated and well-spoken, you will manage your business unit by communicating effectively, understanding the needs of your customers, and ensuring a smooth sales process. You should be able to close sales and meet targets regularly while setting an example for your peers.    
To be successful as an Account Executive you will need to meet or exceed the requirements of the position, listed below.    

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  1. Meet or Exceed New and Existing Business Goals Set by VP of Sales and Marketing Annually 
  2. Maintain a Base of Accounts with a High Level of Retention Following an Extended Version of Our Sales Process  
  3. Provide Excellent Customer Service to Leads, Clients and Colleagues
  4. Create a Plan for Organic Growth Within Your Base Accounts 
  5. Qualify and Close New Business Leads Generated by Marketing, Your Own Prospecting Efforts, Referrals and Lost Accounts Utilizing Our 4 Step Sales Process.   
  6. Build a Robust Pipeline through Solid Planning and Consistent Effort. 
  7. Develop Strong Client Relationships Through a Consultative Sales Approach
  8. Maintain Robust Follow Through, Strong Activity Count and the Overall Integrity of both Sales Force and Epicor.
  9. Price Every Project Utilizing the Annual Cost Model, maintaining a 25% Margin Unless Approved by VP of Sales and Marketing.  All Models to Be Saved to the Shared Cost Folder Annually. 
  10. If Applicable, Facilitate Drop Ship Programs on Your Customer List Including Set Up, Maintenance and Tracking Sales. 
  11. Enter Orders, Create Clients, and Update Existing Clients as Needed in Epicor & Sales Force. 
  12. Manage New Projects from Design through Fulfillment Collaborating with Other Managers and Employees for Execution.  
  13. Work With the Marketing and Sales Manager to Identify Possible Target Markets and Proactively Go After Them 
  14. Report up to VP of Sales and Marketing Monthly on Your Individual Business Unit In Regard To Growth, Retention, New Sales, Variances, Large Projects, Etc. 
  15. Participate in Ongoing Departmental and Company Training 
  16. Be The Voice of the Customer, Communicating Ideas/Feedback to Marketing and Sales Mgmt. 
  17. Set Up, participate in and Follow Up on all Tradeshows That You Attend - Up to 25% Travel.
  18. Maintain Excellent Records and Product/Market Knowledge 
  19. Maintain the Cleanliness and Accuracy of Outlook and Company Shared Folders  
  20. Maintain Positive Attitude & Lead by Example Following Core Company Values and Behaviors 
  21. Collaborate with Marketing to Develop Effective Promotional and Sales Tools
